the animation of him crying with the one toy at the tree is good. like he realized that his best isn't good enough and his partnership with Michael is what made him fulfilled. they were the perfect Ying Yang
I have an uncomfortable love hate for the guy. First thing I always have to do is change his fucking cloths and get a haircut....
he is by far the most realistic character though. Crazy meth head and trailer park trash. I have been around a few people that were high as fuck on meth and they acted just like him. Thankfully they didn't have access to guns.
this was one of the first serious anime that I had seen, and I am pretty sure I saw it in 1989. Totally changed my idea of animations. I had loved cartoons but adults had warped my idea of them.
My first taste of Japanese animation was Star Blazers. I remember watching it in kindergarten (1980! JFK that was forever ago). It would start shortly after I would get home from school. I remember running as fast as I could from the bus stop to get home to see the beginning. After time went on, I had forgot what it was called and only vaguely remember what it was about. But I remembered the Argo but not the name, and their colorful uniforms with the Captain. Years later a friend remembered me telling him about this and he gifted me the first 2 seasons of the show. What a great memory. But it all goes back to falling in love with Akira because after that experience, it lead me to watching more and more until I found that friend that also liked anime and then the gift that was so meaningful.
it gets better, don't let other people ruin your self... West Coast big cities will treat you like a dime a dozen and you will probably find big groups of like-minded people. Even in my city which is more conservative has a good sized alternative scene.
this is true, if you have privacy categories setup and you use something that isn't rated for someone, they won't be able to see it. Kinda like permissions. Government and Medical environments is where I've seen it applied. It's a beast to implement.
because Americans think they will get cancer from anything that has radiation attached to it. Because we're science illiterate and the rich find it easier to control idiots.
sounds like something Tuvix would say....
