And ads back in the day didn't literally track you. I grew up in the 90s with surge and Nintendo and super soakers. Tons of ads that didn't promote dollar store shitty items sold by everyone and their brother for a quick buck that were not crammed down your throat. Today is ridiculous, they literally track every second/sq foot you go inside a store, Google apple ibeacon, or look at the eink price tags that will change by the minute depending on who is near it. It's created to extract every dime from your pocket.
TV ads of yesteryear is nothing of the privacy invasion trash of today, literally listening to your mic and announcing you're pregnant to your family based on a few past purchases.
When I worked in printing, we made stickers of similar wording, hard as fuck to get off without ripping, bright neon green color. Would put them right above the door handle on the glass.

I deal with people who freak the fuck out if their app isn't pinned to their taskbar. I've learned to deal with these people, I would never in a million years talk tech to these people in a serious manner.

I love dabbling in everything and keeping old hardware alive. Nearly all my hardware is from clients that needed their devices wiped and recycled. I destroy their data and save what I can for fun/education. Things that are just too old or unreliable or unsupported for businesses are great.
I wipe and reload many I can't use, give them away. I think that's all my stuff.
The Google AI overview is so often wrong when I ask it basic questions like who is in a TV show or movie, it's unfucking believable. I'm very anti-Ai. It only creates bad, not good
It's not fun for me either, also in IT. My joy comes from watching my kid play, we just finished split Fiction and reanimal, now starting the last of us.
The most I get is jumping into random L4D2 pub games and rushing the maps while blasting music.
I called to schedule a play date at my local dog daycare/boarding, it went to an AI answering service. I asked if it was AI since I could hear noice in the background (literal fake background chatter and noise), when she said yes, hung up. SO tired of AI everywhere. Fuck it all.
Promoted something amazing, fell way short on launch, but instead of disappearing with the money, fixed the game, offered free dlc/updates and redeemed themselves.
Maybe not the definition of enshittification, but at least the games are well worth playing now. My kid and I have paid licenses for each game.
