Now, those parents are like "Oh fuck, we need a measles booster because vapid dipshits are trying to kill everyone!"

Roseanne was the same early on, many of the sitcom premises and monologues were from Barr's stand up routines. But it was never like weekly guests got an opportunity to film and edit a tight five.
