Somehow, people are still flying... which boggles my mind. They're seeing what's happening. There was that plane crash that happened not that long ago. Also the collision with the military flying thing not that long ago either. People are still choosing to fly knowing of the current situation. Make it make sense to me.
Once upon a time, there was a site called StumbleUpon which was a glorified search engine, except you basically only picked a category/topic and their service would redirect you to some random page on the net that was under the category.
The site went down eventually and they took off their extension. They eventually turned into Mix, but now you can actually still find StumbleUpon out there. They've closed off their actual capability for some reason.
The closest thing we have now maybe that doesn't exactly match but for giggles, is the useless web:
Pokemon is a wild [insert word here] for IRL hunting which I do not condone. It's literally the same premise just with cutesy characters and PG story line so that kids can become desensitized to the concept.
My family in east coast says local news station they watch was spamming this instead of putting up something about voting even though they're literally voting today.
For me, probably to always have the right thing to say for every situation. Doesn't have to be the truth, just so long as I can convince the other side or win an argument. It's as close as I'd get to mind control maybe without the glowy eyes and actual powers.
This reminds me of the marvel comic line where the Avengers discover some guy that can supposedly tell the future and then Captain Marvel goes on a witch hunt using this guy who sees people's future even though the gang eventually figure out he's not always right. Anyway, WTF
The problem is, there are egotistical maniacs with nukes trying to enslave society for the benefit of the 1% or to satisfy their own ideals while sacrificing everybody else's needs/safety. If they decide to nuke everything, there won't be a world left to protect against even this.
This is like the opposite of Anakin Skywalker.... this guy became so obsessed with his wife, he literally turned some machine into his image of her. This is just sad.
Are we supposed to pronounce the two "data"s differently when reading aloud? Asking for a friend...
