  • The average man is not a country, that is my whole point. Of course a country has the resources to prove we have landed on the moon but the average man does not, and guess what, that would require the average man to trust the government a government that might be lying about us going to the moon, not everyone wants the usa to get credit for it (looking at you Russia).

    My point is not that it is impossible to prove we've been to the moon, my point is it is irrational for the average person to believe we have been to the moon, because the average person does not have the resources and time needed to prove we've been to the moon.

    We escaped earths gravity in 1969... 1969!, during the height of propaganda and was able to broadcast that to everyone on earth in real time.

    completely unverifiable to the layman except for fuzzy government issued film until years after when we have the technology to forge the whole thing.

    Remember the average man was still subsistence farming until the last few decades.

    It is not crazy to believe this is fake, I would go so far as to say, the only reason the majority of people believe it is real is because of completely irrational reasons and because everyone else does.

    That's not to say there isn't completely rational reasons to say it really happened, but the same can be said about quantum physics.

    The average man cannot be expected to believe it because the science technically exists, and you cannot call someone crazy for believing it.

    It is completely rational to believe the moon landing was fake, it just happens to be wrong.
