  • pedant /pĕd′nt/

    noun

    1. One who ostentatiously exhibits academic knowledge or who pays undue attention to minor details or formal rules.

It was 't a mistake. I used an adjective which describes the pattern on my cat. Your argument is entirely pedantic.

  • I used tortoiseshell as an adjective to describe the pattern on her belly. I was not seeking to be scientifically or taxonomically correct. I was using a word to vaguely describe the coloration of her fur.

The argument just seems like petty pedantry.

  • feel the need to say 'ope' when we almost bump into someone

    Found the midwesterner?

  • I have loaches, so we're kinda close, like rhymingly.

    And this is our mailbox.

And I do a lot of hardscaping with stone. So pretty medieval around here.

  • Hemochromatosis, too. Body doesn't eliminate iron so it can build up in organs, notably liver and kidneys.

The treatment is bloodletting. My wife wanted to get leeches. I settled for just donating 32 times in the first year after finding out. My ferritin count was 9 times the usual max for a man my age. My gallbladder fluid was carrying iron. I was Iron Man.

  • I've been fanning the flames of that hope for a while now. If they can seize the money in your wallet and charge it eith a crime, they sure as hell can do the same to thrit crime money.

The problem (for now) is that those responsible for bringing charges are unwilling to set that precedent.

  • Yes but are they an apt parent?

  • Having worked corporate c-suite level escalations this is absolutely the case. It was fun dressing down directors and managers well above me because I had a mandate from above them to hold their feet to the fire and get shit done.

  • Having been of both sides of this situation, this is excellent advice and will get you much better results on average because you get the CSR on your side and invested in a positive outcome almost every time.

  • Oh, I would have gone alone and enjoyed it. But it was nice to share her catharsis.

  • I wanted to see Edge of Tomorrow so bad because it looked like a cool scifi movie but my wife HATES Tom Cruise as if he'd wronged her personally. Told her he dies like 100 times. I got to see it in the theater with her.

  • Keepass also hasn't leaked 16 billion passwords.

They (keepass) did have malicious actors set up spoof sites providong a trojanized version of keepass compiled from a trojanized version of their open source code.

  • Any chance there's a good resource for how to build one of those ~$15 drones?

    • Decades of Israel and their lobbyists screaming antisemitism any time someone was critical of Israel
    • "Christian's" groomed by The Heritage Foundation with a hardon for the kicking off armageddon as laid out in the book of revelations from their bible
  • international law

Unfortunately we can't even enforce domestic law at this point. Well, ok, but only selectively and only then when it benefits a business or someone tied to the Orangiturd.

It only just now occurred to me how much the war in Iran is also fucking over AI companies.

  • It is of the deep magics from the before times.

    The days of DOS.

  • I was agreeing with you, it doesn't.
