  • I used ti have one that was a hollow bamboo tube with a beeswax covered top. I have seen pvc used also but the sound is different, which is the case for any material.

  • Also, they have to buy a stupidly large and expensive instrument to boot.

First few results on ebay with no filters or sorting shows several for 30-100 $USD. Compact travel didges are under 30 $USD. Full size didges are ~5 ft (150 cm) and not terribly wide. They don't take up much more room than you would need to store a yardstick.

  • Also don't do it (blatantly) when you're with your partner.

Alternatively: find a partner that will be checking them out with you!

  • Cheers!

  • Honestly?

I expect them to eat popcorn as they watch the shitshow unfold. They seem to have gotten their footing now that they know not to depend on the US for anything. I really think a lot of the world is going to sit back, sip some tea, and watch the collapse of the USA. Many others will probably celebrate the US no longer being able to meddle with them.

  • Did someone say hamberders?

  • Savings on salaries means more profit next quarter. Line must go up.

  • This is a company of really smart people who work really hard—coders, engineers, designers—people whose creativity and intellect is a part of their job.

Smart enough to see their work is causing massive harm on a global scale? I know we all need jobs because capitalism commodifies life, but we CAN choose where we work.

Edit to add: if these very smart people were able to land jobs at Meta, they're likely very employable elsewhere and the CHOSEto work for Meta.

  • I added Gummo and Kids in another post.

Schizopolis is really good and weird but doesn't leave you as hollowed out as those others.

It's been a while but I remember Visioneers giving me a similar feeling of bleakness.

  • If you're from the USA: don't come back. Stay.

  • So much horror and comedy wrapped up together. There's the baby scene, and the other baby scene juxtaposed with great bits like:

It's shite being Scottish. We're the lowest of the low!The scum of the fucking Earth! The most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash, that was shat into civilisation! Some people hate the English. I don't!They're just wankers! We, on the other hand, are colonised by wankers! Can't even find a decent culture to be colonised by!We're ruled by effete assholes! It's a shite state of affairs to be in Tommy, and all the fresh air in the world won't make any fucking difference!

  • The Testament is the continuation of Handmaid's Tale and is rough as well.

  • Second for Requiem. Such a good movie but it does not leave you the same as before you watched it.
