  • Except for YouTube. Spin that off first.

  • I was sort of under the impression that he had changed partway through, but perhaps he was like a Tulsi Gabbard in the end.

  • Didn't I hear that he got brain damage or something like that AFTER becoming a senator?

  • Remember that taxes and spending are bad unless it's for the police or the military. If it can be used to oppress minorities, then it's ok. If it can be used to uplift minorities (i.e. education, food and medical assistance), then it is bad.

  • It really is amazing to see these former Fox people that Trump picked up be completely and utterly stuck in Fox mode. It tells me that this sort of thing was probably their identity long before they became part of Fox, and is precisely how the ended up on shows there to begin with. Some people are genuinely incapable of growth or change.

  • I am hopeful that the people in the US can experience relief. The problem is that people are brought up with silly propaganda like it being the free-est country in the world, the best, etc. It's all very strange and causes cult-like behavior.

  • What does it mean?

  • The difference is that people are questioning whether they should keep trading in dollars. This is new.

  • There are so many reasons someone might have to go see a dentist. As much as I like to trash on Trump, this is a non-story.

ETA: Never mind, it's pretty clear that this is a smoke screen for something else going on.

  • I'm somewhere in the middle. I am aware of both but really payed no attention to either.

  • OF course. Timing is everything

  • Not really. The Constitution says that the SCOTUS exists but other than that, Congress can manage it. There have been MANY more than 9 justices in the past, and there have been many less. In each case, Congress passed a law setting that number.

  • Plus about half the court would cycle out right this moment.

  • I'd like to say that nobody cared about security even 25 years ago, but in government, they have ALWAYS cared about security.

  • This is definitely a case of hurting anyone they could rather than targeting their rage. Now members of the public have to suffer it.

  • This may be generational. There is not likely to be much intersection between the group of people who listened to Streisand and those who listen to Swift.

  • I'm going to just block you at this point.

  • it's your apparent anger that made me suggest leaving this conversation behind. You're making many assumptions and projecting a lot of emotion on others.

  • You claimed responsibility in your previous comment. Time to let this conversation go and move on with your life.
