I looked it up. It's not a meme, it's just something people say because people started saying in on Tik Tok. Apparently its only point is to make people who are older become confused.
These were never substantiated. In fact some children came forward and said that their parents coached them to say these things.
Two takes:
It’s possible that summering happened but could not be proven.
It’s possible that nothing happened at all.
The circumstances point more to the latter. I personally believe that a bunch of greedy bastards were after money and had no problem destroying someone’s life in the process.
It’s not personal. How many idiots have lied, been ignorant, or didn’t think it was important and caused a lot of trouble in the process?
Ex: in free clinics that specialize in sexually active gay men, they don’t ask if you take street drugs, they ask if you’ve ever taken Viagra without a prescription. Stimulants cause impotence.
I think that the idea was that there is a special point where you feel secure and nothing beyond that makes any difference. But that $75k number sounds familiar. It's probably more like $120k today.
