I'm not a legal expert but, lawyers get paid when you get a settlement. If your lawyer isn't willing to look into this, it's because (s)he doesn't think it's possible to get a settlement.
But you can show your footage to a video editing person. Get it looking really bad for the officers. Publish the officers names and badge numbers. Do everything you can to hurt them back. Maybe go to a local news outlet. And definitely show whatever you're willing to show here, you will get tons of support from the people on Lemmy as we are often not fans of the cops.
Try and stay anonymous wherever possible. Be safe. If these pigs have your name or address it's possible they will cause trouble for you if you publish their info.
