I can't understand what you're asking. If you want server to server relays, that's IRC that has been around since the previous millenium. Matrix also has something like that. If you want single independent servers, that's regular chat rooms.
I'm on my 2nd Motorola G series. Very good hardware value and the 1st was almost bloat free. I had to debloat the 2nd but it's mostly ok now. I keep hearing cringe things about Samsung. No idea about Xiaomi.

It's new roms for the Nokia N8 if you still have one. It's a 2010 phone so no idea if it has 5g or even 4g. Meh. I still have an N9 which is also unusable today because the 3g network here is gone.

Threads is a Facebook thing and I stay away. The tiny corner of Mastodon that I look at is pretty good. Lemmy, well I'm here and it's not totally bad, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Too much duplication, too much clickbait, and believe it or not too much centralization. For example, your reading history is store on the server instead of the client.
Phone # seems like a scary thing to collect. Also, visiting the web site reveals an IP address, maybe not good. Wonder if there's a more anonymous way to get the alerts out, like if some larger sites sent out alert geolocations along with regular web pages.
