I would think generally it holds true. Most 'progressives' agree that social services like healthcare, childcare, welfare, etc. are a good thing and should be supported/funded as much as possible. These are all collective arrangements achieved through some sort of governing system (taxes, etc.); however, I think that's mostly as far as the general agreement usually goes. As soon as you get into collective food distribution on the same level as healthcare, it gets a bit thorny. Same goes for nationalizing any industry tbh (gasoline, telecom, mail).
That's what I would love to do, but all of them are available only within one month.
...I suppose I should say that the only places I can afford right now (in my city) are house-shares, not actually apartments (though some of them are priced as such -_-). That very likely has a lot to do with the move in/out time frame.
I was partly the same. I only cared about my pets. The last time I had cried before therapy was when my cat died, and before that when my dog died ~10 years prior.
No, you need to go to therapy and talk these feelings through with a professional.
I've been in a similar emotional state and with therapy I realized my 'dgaf' attitude was the only way I could keep living after a traumatic incident I experienced as a child, twenty-five years ago. I had been forcing my self away from having any meaningful relationships out of fear that they would make me feel bad, like I did on that day. Before therapy I had forgotten it had ever happened, but afterwards I realized so much about myself and it all just clicked into place; all of my strange behaviours, my anti-social tendencies, my mentality of not giving a fuck about you or anyone else. It was all to avoid negative emotions. I wish I had gone, or been able to go to therapy a lot sooner. I would be much happier then I am now if I did, but it matters not because I did go, and I talked things out; I worked out the cause of all this pain and healedstarted healing.
I refuse to buy a phone without a headphone jack. I'm not sure if I even have a choice anymore tbh... Really I only use my phone for music and text/call. A dandy map if I need one, but not usually.
I can say the same about my ipod. I used it everyday for the longest time until I realized I can put a 126gb micro sd card in my phone which is more than double what my ipod had. Now it's sitting in a box somewhere in my closet. Probably still works too.
