  • IMO, Intel is circling the drain and will die without intervention. And their death will have some pretty crazy ramifications.

If the US had competent leaders, they’d realize Intel was important to global security, and they’d come up with some sort of way to break up the fab and design business.

No one wants to send their designs to Intel’s fab because they don’t want Intel to copy their homework. That’s why Intel’s design competitors use TSMC. And TSMC scales faster because of increased money and experience.

  • Good.

  • The CA the ballot measure isn’t indefinite and the people control whether or not it continues.

Also worth noting that the initial rules against gerrymandering were put in place via a ballot measure, not by the elected representatives.

I’m all for this shit if the people continue to have a kill switch.

  • We can’t wait for “if” they go through with it. If you want too long, then can’t redistrict before districts needs to be defined for the 2026 election.

The GOP has redistricting in motion. They Dems need to assume the worse and act now.

The nuke has been launched. You can’t wait for it to drop to see how big of a retaliation is warranted.

  • Compared to what the GOP wants for 2026, yes.

They’re going to make the maps look like absolute spaghetti.

  • Interesting thing is that GPT 5 looks pretty price competitive with . It looks like they’re probably running at a loss to try to capture market share.

  • I don’t know anyone in the Valley who considers Gemini to be the best for code. Anthropic has been leading the pack over the year, and as a results, a lot of the most popular development and prototyping tools have been hitching their car to Claude models.

I imagine there are some things the model excels at, but for copy writing, code, image gen, and data vis, Google is not my first choice.

Google is the “it’s free with G suite” choice.

  • Honestly, Gemini is probably the worst out of the big 3 Silicon Valley models. GPT and Claude are much better with code, reasoning, writing clear and succinct copy, etc.

  • Also ran well into the 80’s with new episodes.

They also rebooted it twice. Once in the 90’s and once recently. I don’t know if Tattoo made a comeback, so only people 35 and up might get that reference.

  • Bathroom bills, chem trail laws. So many dumb examples of people trying to protect themselves from a boogeyman man that conservative media tells you to fear.

  • To be fair, the republicans make lots of stupid shit illegal even when it’s not a threat at anything. They love virtue signaling through regulation and love creating laws that are based on conspiracy BS.

  • Missed the click target.

Now I live in the UAE.

  • To be fair, Trump did basically turn the new rose garden into a basketball court. And he is a sex offender that’s on the Epstein list.

  • Commemorative disk?

  • The latest season of Daredevil has that as running plot point. The Punisher hated the dirty cops sporting the punisher logo.

  • He made this announcement while wearing a shirt with a punisher skull on it. The punisher would hate the shit out of this guy.

  • But, everything is computer.

  • The Prius limo gets around.

Also, the Prius in your photo is the body style that came after this body style.

And when you have a welder and metal fabrication tools, you can make any weird shit you want. Including that step-up window.

  • I wouldn’t be surprised if, given the rich disinformation landscape in America, covid was destined to be an utter shit show in the USA.

Trump sure as shit didn’t help.
