  • Most of the anecdotal stuff I see online says their current CEO is the largest owner. That said, you claim it’s Jack. I’m just curious about where you heard that. ¯(ツ)

  • I’m curious to see what gets promoted in Japan. BlueSky’s discover feed in the US is fairly politics-heavy right now since a lot of the new users have been fleeing X’s MAGA swamp.

I have no problem with political posts, but I’m hungry for some more organic variety. If I want variety I have to put in a lot of manual work to find people and topics to follow.

  • Do you have a source for the “largest shareholder” thing? I’m having a hard time finding anything about that.

  • Long long maaaaan

  • If only his actions didn’t also hurt the half of the country that voted against him and organized to keep him out of office. He won by a sliver.

  • Let’s not kid itself into thinking blanket 100% tariffs are a remotely smart way to implement tariffs on China. People that knew about Trump’s 100% tariff plan when they voted for him are usually in two camps.

The camp that a) thought the plan was bluster like the wall, or b) they are too uninformed to know that China doesn’t pay these. Americans purchasing from China pay the taxes.

  • Re bullet 2. Irresponsibility.

My theory is that it is isn’t the badge on the car, it’s the fact that people’s grocery getter now was the performance of a high-end sports car from a decade ago. And, like a with a sports car, Teslas are designed to encourage users to have “fun” driving. Every test drive from a Tesla store ALWAYS includes a segment where the store rep encourages people gun it onto or on a large open road.

Before Telsa it was the German manufacturers who dominated the commuter-car-with-sports-car-performance market. And guess what? Those people drove like a-holes.

  • Most of the appointments are just career politicians or career political pundits. They’re not outsiders.

Trump never wanted to drain the swap. He wants to rule it.

  • the hotel who said that around 1:30 a.m. that night he received multiple complaints about a couple causing a disturbance by the pool. There, he found Doe and Hegseth, who “began to curse” when he tried to speak with them, according to the police report.

Hegseth told the hotel worker he had “freedom of speech”

I think we’ve all met this entitled drunk asshole before. They usually suck sober too.

  • They’re not concentration camps. They’re just camps to concentrate people.

  • $420 “Joy” is a fun payment.

  • Someone should propose a house rule that bans sex offenders from the bathrooms. Looking at you Matt.

  • Why do that when you can fight about the one person in congress with a different pee pee hole?

  • To all the people saying to put in gender neutral bathrooms, remember, the point is to sow division. The GOP doesn’t actually want solutions that make this issue go away.

  • The GOP won’t do that. The point is to sow division.

  • When I was in middle school I thought “warez” was pronounced “juárez.” I’m not a smart man.

  • I’m anticipating that we’re going to have to donate a lot of money to the NPRs and Media Matters of the world.

  • Look for Trump to attack public media and NGO media watchdogs.

They’ve already said that they want to defund NPR / PBS, and Musk is suing Media Matters.

They’re going after anyone that reports on rightwing disinformation, and the small journalists will have the least resources to fight the battle.
