most metal adjacent music i've ever liked was ac/dc, and some industrial stuff from the 90's, everything else for me is unlistenableto, and i definitely judge those who make it part of their personality, much like i do reality tv, and professional wrestling. a man's gotta have a code, this is mine.
The last and only truth I needed to know about Spotify was it's 250 million dollar deal with Joe Rogan, who is antivax incel cancer, and that was it for me. No need to learn or know any more about them.
I loved Slick Willy while he was in office, he presided over the greatest decade in American life, the 90's, one of such hope and progress, and relative safety, I'm quite sure we'll not see the like again while I'm on this earth.
That said, the Lewinsky stuff was embarrassing, and the repeal of Glass-Steagall set up the Subprime mortgage crisis and later the Global Financial crisis which saw the American people have to pay Billions to bail out banks, who weren't forced to change in any way, while average tax paying American citizens lost their livelihoods, homes, and in some cases their lives.
I'll always have a soft spot for Bill, I wish him well.
You can wash Cast Iron all you like, I wouldn't suggest the dishwasher, just don't use soap, scrape with a plastic paint scrapper under hot water, heat until smoking, rub some oil on it, let cool. Easy peasy. After knowing we're all poisoning ourselves with the nonstick coating and have been for decades, the Cast Iron is a great nonstick alternative.
If his is the deciding vote, all the money in my pocket against all the money in yours, says he votes against. But it won't be, Republicans will be in the majority, and they'll push through Hegseth and Patel, just like they pushed through Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barret. This is PR to keep PA Republicans onside, you know, to get re-elected, and keep his seat. And red meat for the idiots, to point, and go "look look look oooo oooo oooo" as if it's anyone but positioning. Elections have consequences. Seems a dumb idea to blame Fetterman just for shits and giggles.
Everybody laughing at this guy, but actual real people, and families, that are alive today, won't be this time next year, because of the insane shit Trump and his cadre of incompetents will foist on the world with their purposefully unworkable foreign policies. You don't do this, or nominate any of Trumps barrel bottoms in the first place, if you want a functioning ChristoFascist government, you do this because you want to get away with something else while everyone is distracted.
" But to the couple’s shock, they said, Sedera told them they were ineligible, citing a policy near the end of the group’s member guidelines: Within the first year of membership, medical bills for childbirth “are not shareable.”
“We basically gave Sedera our money and received nothing in return,” Kaplan said. “The rug was pulled out from underneath us.”"
I mean ...... yeah, this is a shitty practice, and being completely unregulated (not that actual insurance companies are regulated to the point of choosing patient health and life over profit) needs to be exposed, so others don't fall into this, but if you're signing up for "health insurance" of any kind, and plan to get pregnant with your spouse/partner, you're gonna have to check whether or not you're covered, so I'm not buying they didn't know going in, and that this was a complete surprise, lol. They're claiming they didn't know because it makes a good story, and they want to get paid back (or compensated through sympathetic donations from those that read this story)
This is interesting, and there are no innocent parties here, the accuser Lt. Quathisha Epps, had an inquiry launched against her for her $400,000 paycheck last year, with most of it coming from claims of 1,600 hours of overtime. Lt. Epps promptly submitted her retirement paperwork after the inquiry was announced, and then accused New York Police Chief of Department of, get this, offering her overtime, for sexual favors.
I'm not sure this is going to turn out the way Lt. Epps believes it will. Woof.
