  • I worked for an MSP that supported an all-Mac environment. Got real tired of telling people that their problem was a well-known bug in Mac that Apple has ignored for over 10 years and would probably never be fixed. I had to give that explanation a lot, for many different issues.

At least with Windows people expect problems like that. Mac people refuse to believe anything could possibly be Apple's fault.

  • I'll believe it when I see it. Last I checked, 25% of Americans (not Trump supporters, all Americans) professed that they will follow Trump literally no matter what he says or does. That was years ago. This cult is propaganda-driven, so that number is probably higher now.

  • Did the big law firms finally figure out Trump wouldn't ever pay them?

  • Had the same experience on Blue sky. I was never into Twitter, so I checked out Bsky to see if that was better. Nah. Just different political circle jerking.

  • The scientific method. Try to falsify your own beliefs.

  • I live in a farming area and there are no real farmer's markets here. The supposed farmer's market is mostly low-grade Etsy crafts and maybe two tables reselling grocery store produce at 300% markup.

  • Full-on blunder years yearbook photo with the People's Eyebrow even

  • In Trump's first campaign commercial back in 2015, he promised to "bomb Iran and take their oil." That's a direct quote of Trump's words that I will never forget because it was so shocking, at the time, for a politician to just say things like that.

Point is, more war was the first thing he promised. And we all had at least ten years to get wise to his bullshit.

  • Well, "weed" can be a legal definition. A lot of governments have a noxious weed list that either provides for consequences if you suffer that plant on your property, or just an excuse for the government to come on to your property to kill the weeds for you. For instance, Russian Olive is legally a "kill on sight" invasive plant in my area.

  • At long last, and at grotesque costs, we finally have a machine that repeats anything a billionaire says. What a time to be alive.

  • The rich are ripping the copper out of the walls of society before it all comes crashing down. They burn out employees, throw them away and hire fresh ones. Who cares, they're not planning of any of this lasting much longer.

  • Are we doing over-under betting for the mass rehiring that is sure to follow?

  • The least believable part of this is a person like that just voluntarily hanging out in public around people.

  • Why is it so swirly?

  • TIL about the wolfman constant. I never had a clever name for it, but I had the "hopeless dipshit percentage" at 25 to 33%. That's the number of people who can't name a single branch of the US government, think Obama is a Kenyan citizen, think Sadam Hussein caused 9/11, think astrology is real science, and professed that they would support Trump literally no matter what he said or did.

  • SCOTUS already wrote him a blank check and demonstrated that defying the law has no consequences (for Trump). No one is going to save us.

  • A lot of the GOP probably think that they are good people who are using Trump as a necessary evil. Every time they do Trump's bidding after initially resisting, they think, "Okay, just a little bit more evil, it's all for the greater good."

  • The kind of picture I took for my Myspace profile with Linkin Park's Numb playing in the background
