  • In the culture usually if the computer tries to fuck someone they will get an unpleasant nickname.

  • The primary question here MoCo has is how. Notwithstanding Thomas's deranged concurrence on how unacceptable it is the board is teaching this and not religion, the court doesn't suggest how to pay for the costs of having separate atomized instruction and instructors. If the kids stay home for the day then whatever. But that's not the ask in this case.

  • I guess I'm a train now.

  • Hard to have standing over a third party not doing something to someone else that would hurt them to maybe(key point here) help you. It's possible to argue yourself there but the bar is incredibly high. If you can't assign direct provable causation and redress, you're SOL.

It's kind of like how nobody really could challenge DACA in the courts from the Republican side because all the harms they cited were hypothetical.

  • The legal basis is someone with standing would have to sue him over it. Tiktokm certainly isn't going to and Congress... Well.

  • We can beat them and shoot the journalists with rubber bullets just fine, thank you.

  • I'm glad this project has been forked. I really want to see the direction other developers go with it

  • Yay.

  • Ke$ha's law

  • ICE committing the violence, such as when they intentionally shot rubber bullets at an Australian reporter

Wasn't that the LAPD? It was an ACAB moment I believe, not ICE specifically.

  • The ice it was on melted and it sunk.

  • The decision to pursue the indictment against Abrego Garcia led to the abrupt departure of Ben Schrader, a high-ranking federal prosecutor in Tennessee, sources briefed on Schrader's decision told ABC News.

That's at least good to see.

He made over 100 trips, the grand jury found

Bondi misrepresenting just what a grand jury is and what they decide without ABC correcting it is not good to see though.

  • Oh I'm not saying that they don't engage in extreme attacks on who they consider their enemies. But Trump rapidly flips on who his enemy and who his friend is based on the situation. He's had that relationship with most of the GOP. Without the staff I honestly don't think he'd be able to keep it together. Sometimes he shifts based straight up on who he's in the room with and how they're treating him at that exact moment. What I'm trying to say is there's no actual calculation or payback in his mind. It's entirely binary and subject to rapid shifts. Classic black and white thinking/cluster b splitting.

  • their egos are too big to make up

That's where you're wrong. They both constantly rewrite the past in their own memories. Shit one takes massive doses of disassociatves and the other can't be bothered to digest a single thought. They can make up and act like nothing ever happened and they're both the greatest. To hold a grudge you need to be able to hold a coherent opinion on anything and not exist in a perpetual stream of consciousness.

  • Roberts rules of order exist to shut out the plebs, not to achieve consensus.

  • This lady sure is toxic, but on the flip side these sort of depositions are exactly why folks often avoid actually pursuing justice over sexual misconduct. I'm conflicted by the entire thing.

  • Well more like the Republican committee will say "we'll get right on that." He's certainly not asking the executive to do anything.
