  • Aah.. that is indeed a problem since the threats have to be dealt with fast once they are reported since they are now basically public..

  • the point being the mail list for ai slop is there just so it doesnt clog the actual one and anyone who breaks that can be blacklisted as malicious actor.

  • they should make another mailing list for ai generated reports that they totally read, and ban anyone who submits slop to the main one. not sure how feasible it is since spammers will just generate new emails, but at least they would have something clear to point out the malicious intent.

  • why would they include themselves in it when they can make onesided demands?

  • dont work hard for companys, better they do more likely you will get laid off with everyone else. Might happen anyway, but if they dont do well they might think they actually need people to do work.

  • Steam review excerpt from Ulrich

--" Their EULA specifically calls out the following behavior and actions as not allowed and will result in the termination of your license:

    • Using a VPN.
    • Streaming the game.
    • Making fan art.
    • "Taking actions that go against social norms"
    • Playing the game on more than one device without buying more than one license.
    • Any action that "Tarnishes the reputation of Krafton"

    They also mention that they:

    • Reserve the right to "remote access the game" at any time, meaning they have backdoor access to your computer.
    • Reserve the right to harvest your personal data, such as full legal name, email, physical address, phone number, gender, etc.
    • Will pass that data on to third party providers, such as marketing agencies and cloud services
    • Provide no guarantee that the data is protected or anonymized in any way (it includes your name and address so how could it be, anyway?) "--

Might want to read the eula for the game, otherwise you might lose access to it.

  • though this also points out why such things as companies having "values" is laughable and should be ridiculed if they arent clearly enforced. All they do is scam people into thinking they might not be explitative shits which shouldnt be allowed or looked kindly upon.

So many people have to switch services now and even more will just become victims of the company after it becomes more shitty. All those people could have used some other service that is less likely to go shitty, which in turn would have given it more resources to improve.

  • why even have "Motto" if you are just going to renege on it.

  • robby rotten

  • until google removes it or adds even more hoops.

  • billionaire would hire multiple persons to press the button and give the money to them while paying basically nothing for it.

  • wasnt using it before, thanks to fediverse i can use at least some.

  • "Can’t you just disable sleep on close? " You really think they have technical competence for such?

  • some things are worth your time and some things are not, you yourself decide what is what. You just have to know what is important to you and consider things that affect that. And to also know what things are not worth giving a fuck. The capitalist society also trys to make you care about worthless things so those too will fill up your attention.

So in essence, if something isnt important to you and not caring about it doesnt make your life more difficult, let that thing go.

  • the trick is to know what is worth paying attention to and what is not

  • that is because protesting just raises the awareness of the issue. Its better than nothing, but only direct action has any effect on anything at this point. The billionaires should be considered to be akin to foreign occupation and resisted accordingly.

  • fraud? this is plain stealing. The ones who own the data center should go to prison.

  • Being interested in sports. Not weird in itself but weird that they find it interesting. I just dont get it.

  • it was fine because guide probably didnt understand the concept of glasses being able to record stuff, otherwise it would have been fine for you to take pictures too.
