This is a chart showing percentage difference over 12 months of CPI for the last 20 years. Biden's presidency came with less than 1% inflation which only rise to record levels in the first 2 years. It has come down to high 2% and settled at that level.

In the last 12 months everything other than energy prices have rise by 2.4%. A 2-2.4% in prices after having 2 years of near 10% inflation.

You can see how Democrats saying that they have done good for economy and common man seems hollow.

  • It's a trademark for politicians across the aisle.

  • Government is the easiest thing to corrupt, and that corruption is billionaires. The only reason they exist while 90% are living paycheck to paycheck is that the government is either absent or is not functioning properly.

Agreed to the fact the Nazi Germany was a government but far worse was feudalism. Government with unbridled billionaires and businesses is just that with extra steps. Jsut to make ot palatable for the modern senses.

  • Fumes a party that endorsed a convicted felon for presidency.

  • Fumes a party that endorsed a convicted felon for presidency.

  • I said that to a friend of mine how to get percentage by creating fraction. They were flabbergasted at the sorcery.

The friend is a Doctrate of biological sciences and a professor. Where as I am just an engineer.

  • Because Trump does represent a lot of the policies that Republican party support. Christian nationalism, low taxes for the rich, white supremacy.

It was apparent when the Alaskan governor ran for VP. (I forgot her name.) It consolidated behind Trump because he was a buffoon who could be manipulated to get their main aims to be fulfilled.

None in the DNC would want anyone other than a establishment candidate to be theirs. This was true when Hillary was nominated, when Biden was nominated and also when Harris was nominated.

Biden would have lost too if not for the previous 4 years of Trump. With Harris promising to continue putting finger in her ears and walking the same path which might have given respite if people could have let it continue 4-8 years. But who knows if they would have lived to see those days.

  • There you go showing data that refutes popular position. Harris lost because people didn't vote for her, not that people did vote for the orange man.

  • I thot nothing will b accomplished when there was a chance Harris could have won but now it is in the worse category.

  • US doesn't have a centrist or left leaning party. It is either centre right or a far right party. If a party is only counting the right wing vote it is but obvious that a far right would be much more appealing than a centre right.

That leaves the centrist and left leaning populace without a voice. People can berate them for not choosing a right wing party to avoid far right getting power. But that just glosses over the fact that there is no representation of them in either direction.

  • Why is no one discussing Dems have lost the senate and given a bigger majority in the house to Republicans. Even without Trump they are bound to control house and the senate.

Stand by for nothing happening for the next 2 years or worse.

  • Finally some positive words now for acting on it, if she gets a chance.

In a presidential democracy she has all the power if she wants it.

  • Sure when that strikes my fancy, for now I will pass.

  • How different would he be from all the dictators and despots US has propped up elsewhere in the world. World will still turn, sun will still rise. All dictators die, all dictatorship ends. This is not end of the world.

  • Gaza is not on ballot I agree. But trying to convince people who don't wish to participate in a genocide by telling them that their concerns don't matter is wrong.

Israel has declared if not by words surely by actions that they won't stop as long as Palestine remains.

  • This is the correct reason and the reason why the genocide will continue no matter who is elected.

Aipac has bought enough of american politicians that it has rendered votes worthless.

People should vote on matters other than this for with any outcome US sponsored genocide is inevitable.

  • Which one should you prefer slowly genocide by starvation, diseases.

    Or

Fast genocide by increased bombing and worse weapons.

I don't think this is a choice anyone would want to choose from.

  • Anger amongst them is understandable and they should not be berated to make a choice they wish to make.

  • Depends if she goes behind Israeli lobby.
