    Still, they were down for almost 3 hours today and that's a lot worse than my old DSL provider.

  • HugesNet has low throughput but it's pretty reliable. I had high hopes for Starlink but it seems to be a dud.

  • Doing the shit you already like to do. Do you bike, hike, run, or ski/snowboard? I meet people all the time doing that stuff and I already have a wonderful partner.

    If you're a drinker, meeting people at the bar is probably the best bet but anything you like to do, just go do it. Women are probably there.

  • Yeah, Linux is easy for me and you but the vast majority of people can't even factory reset thier phone. I help them as much as I can but I'm not skilled enough to make software. I just don't have the talent. Should someone make UnChome? Absolutely. Without a profit motive we are going to have to wait for some altruistic programmers to do it.
