  • So something I’ve wondered. People want more Luigi’s, but are you willing to be a Luigi?

  • Yeah but that misses the key point. I don’t want a large chunky server. I love how small the 2-bay Synologies are, even the 4 bays are compact. Know any generic hardware like that? Looking like I may move to QNAP next.

  • I see people saying “build your own”, and though I have the technical expertise to do it, the big draws for Synology for me was the form factor and all the stuff in the OS. I can probably recreate the latter easily enough, but where can I find a 2-4 bay system that small and good looking that I can work with?

  • I love America… I fucking hate Trump, MAGA and the GOP.

  • Huh. I actually don’t remember that much fanservice. I guess I blocked that part out.

  • It’s hard to write good sex into something and not have it detract from the plot. Most movies are plot driven and the casual sexual angle doesn’t normally contribute to advancing the plot (not saying it isn’t possible). It could be used in the worlds-building phase but then would also be a one and done thing.

  • Like John Wick for the last one?

  • Won’t spoil it, but keep watching, your initial assessment is a bit off there.

  • It’s one of my favorite. People call it a JSDF recruitment video, but it’s just a good old fashioned curb stomping.

  • In Gate there is very little to no magic. It’s mainly a Roman-era army, with some wyverns and other creatures thrown in. The military even comments how hard the wyvern scales are and that it shrugged off .50-cal bullets. But it couldn’t survive a shit load of C4.

  • Yeah I love how people are panning it and laughing, but thin clients are bread and butter to most enterprises. I think we have around 1,800 deployed at last count. The price is competitive and if you’ve gone all in on the Microsoft ecosystem it makes sense.

  • wtf

    Tripled our ARR

I mean going from $100 to $300 is technically tripling. It just doesn’t mean anything

    Putting in 12-15 hour days

    Ultra hard pass…

  • Ever been to New York?

  • I love my Elite but I think it’s absolutely stupid that I have to connect to one of their servers in order to change activities and buttons. There is literally zero reason for that. You could easily have an app that connects locally to the device and can do it there. I could see needing their service if you want to download new remote profiles but that should be it.

  • The internet was simultaneously the best and worst thing for humanity.

  • That’s a non-sequeter. You started by saying that internet on cars were bad and then switched to “you should be using bikes”

  • Just a note. The government is using Signal most likely to get around FOIA and other requests for documentation and accountability.

  • I think I mentioned it in another post but Schwaticars are a bit different. Though I’d assume they’d have to have some basic functionality in the event of an outage. “Always on” hasn’t come to cars… yet

  • Again though, they are all quality of life things. You don’t have to use it on most cars. Don’t want it, don’t pay for it and don’t use it. So just like giving people the choice of AA/CP, what’s wrong with giving them the choice of using those features?
