  • I always wondered how communicators worked, because everyone always answers too fast.When Riker says "Riker to Worf" who is he talking to? To the computer so it can stablish the connection? If the computer then repeats the "Riker to Worf" to Worf then should be some more delay before the answer. But there's no delay, that implies that Riker is broadcasting his request and only Worf answers. Does that mean that they use comms sparingly? Or everyone is constantly hearing these calls ship wide?

  • Yes, it is more complex and certaintly better than what I make, it is along the lines of the simpler recipes that use mayonnaise as base sauce.

    I plan to one of these days learn how to make one of the authentic recipes that don't use any mayonnaise.     That would only work for a small subset of highly motivated individuals, on a single topic for as long as they are interested on that topic.

    Most people need to ask questions and clarifications, and quite often someone else's question what makes you realise that something wasn't what you thought and that sparks new questions.

  • I drink a lot of plain carbonated water. I mean carbonated water with powerful bubbles like most sodas. Some carbonated waters are awfully bad with weak ass bubbles indistinguishable from something that was left open the day before and went flat.
