  • The only down side is that they need to install a torrent client. I usually make them install Transmission, it is the simplest torrent client I know of and its name says all they need to know about what it is for.

  • I was about to suggest to send the files through torrent, it is the simplest method for sending files from one computer to another if you don't need to announce it on a tracker. Just create a torrent file, send it through email, double click at the other end and the transfer starts.
