  • i think it is an anime thing, where generic characters (here depicting a generic user) don't have any hair or eyes

    i know a similar thing from hentai, where if the focus is on the girl and the men are bald and eyeless, although their heads are mostly outside of the frame

  • I met up with some guys (and gals) from !ich_iel@feddit.org at the Chaos Communication Congress in December. They also took a group photo together that I unfortunately missed.

    Some people in my local Hackerspace also use Lemmy. One of them was Admin on feddit.de before it shut down.

    If you have a Hackerspace where you live, there is a good chance that some people there use Lemmy too.

    edit: Hacker as in Hacker Culture or in the sense of the German Wikipedia Entry for Hacker and not in the sense of the Security Hacker
