  • You don't have to start your own community (lemmy's subreddit) if you feel it is too niche. Find or start a broder one where your niche content will fit. That way, your content has a home and more lemming will be attracted to it.

  • At a time I didn't have wifi, I would not share connection with younger guests. There was no way I would use my phone to connect to internet the bloody smart tv in the heart of our share living room. Never done it in my life, so I was not lying when I saied I didn't knew how to do it. If you Come to visit me, visit me not my game console or my streaming service.

  • Universities all over the world own their fair share of regional and national network. They also host a lot of services however in most of study field the student are not educated about it and go for corporate solutions. Professor may know about it but they are not sensibilised enough to understand they should teach to choose these tools
