  • there are some fungicides which stop new protein synthesis pointblank, a valid substitute i think.

  • not immediately surely, but like in an hour

  • there are lotka and volterra inside you

  • Feel like it’s definite cop out after someone made fun of them in the 80s

  • looks like a bottle of ketchup and toothbrush, so: non-newtonian liquid dispenser and portable ultrasound?

  • is time even real? smh

  • it's just cutting out the middleman tbh. Plants had it too good for too long

  • it's still a force, produced by a field (in this case curvature), although alternative opinions are available: (linky to pbs spacetime)

  • i'm actually curious from science friendos we have here: europe doesn't have a lot of opened positions in science, even ignoring the fact that tons of science facilities require expensive low-volume stuff (biolabs/cyclotrones/high-precision mechanics/lasers/electronics etc), so expanding them is not that easy as just creating positions

have there been some noises from eu of increased grant funding or something? or what will happen with nih wind down?

  • R2R designers: I will continue liking resistors

  • Putting pop in pop science

  • actually space based nuclear uses thermoelectric

  • You are a good person

  • What if galaxy actually ever-growing nautilus shell, and world eater snake is nautilus itself :things to ponder in cave:

But if you have been in large administrative building you did do that, kinda sorta

  • After i posted i realised like lobsters and stuff coud feasibly meet an octopus, so they are probably familiar. Still terrifying though, if lobster was like human size

  • Exoskeletons are also scary both for octopii and us

  • Tis a joke about color perception :) to me, in the photo the eye does look like oversaturated blue (maybe due to blown out white around the eye)
