Leftists decided punishing Democrats was more important than the rights of marginalized people living in the US, so now we have Trump. Thanks leftists. You're the reason we will have concentration camps again.

  • I used to have one as my primary work device for a few years. Honestly, it was surprisingly usable once you find online analogs for all typical things you do on a computer.

The biggest issue is you'd be using a free online service for some application, and then they start charging per month or the company goes under and you lose your work, so you have to keep finding new services and exporting your work to a common format that won't disappear to a central file system like Drive diligently.

  • I used to be a teacher in the 2010s. I remember boys having this ghost pepper challenge they would do that would put them in literal tears.

I never stopped them. Some just have to learn through experience that being an idiot to impress your buds isn't going to result in a good time for you.

  • When I was a kid schools didn't have expensive electronics to destroy. But we sure drew a ton of penises in expensive textbooks.

  • Even if you are creating a display piece and not something functional, it's something you are making for yourself, and a limited number of them. You aren't mass producing Funko Pops of which millions will end up in a land fill.

  • What each individual defines as garbage is up to them. I'm certain there are very very few people who are literally printing garbage on purpose with their 3D printers.

And again the scale of waste is like 2 trillion to 1 comparing corporations to independent hobbyists 3D printing parts.

Being able to 3D print also allows one to repair things that otherwise would just have to be tossed in a landfill because some critical plastic piece broke.

And it allows users to create their own one-off objects that they need rather than a corporation creating an immense surplus of parts the majority of which will never reach consumer hands and will end up in a landfill.

Taking offense at people who 3D print for being bad for the environment is just concern trolling at this point.

  • The environmental impact of 3D printing is minimal compared to the industrial levels of waste making by corporations.

  • Wtf. This is hilarious. Why are men so insecure?

  • 🫰

  • Make my pottery, dive deeper into woodworking, and learn permaculture farming.

  • It's probably not his fault he's an idiot.

However the voters who voted the idiot into the highest office or refrained from voting are certainly at fault.

  • We had a white elephant party, and my contribution was an Ongo Gablogian mug.

Literally nobody at my job understood the reference.

  • Medium boiled egg. Some frozen potstickers, I heated up on the side.

  • The Affinity Suite is so worth it. Pay a single time and get all the apps on all major OSes instead of the stupid subscription bullshit Adobe tries to lock you into.

  • One difference is machine size. A bed slinger needs enough room to sling the bed around. I have a Snapmaker Artisan and its humongous because of this.

  • I blame the algorithms. This shit is oushed in front of impressionable young men's faces by most social media algorithms because it drives (toxic) engagement. Others have already described why it's appealing.

This shit has always existed but it's given a soap box because corporate wants number to go up, and sadly parents these days leave parenting up to social media so they don't teach them that these views are abhorrent.

  • What are you going to believe? Something you read everywhere or advice from a random trustworthy guy on the internet?

  • If your goal is money, become an investment banker. I kind of wish I knew about this option when I was young. Those people are all millionaires at age 30.

Your life will suck for 10 years but you'll have enough of a nest egg you can retire at 35 if you want.

  • but if you dont actually like software engineering you have no chance when you are competing with applicants for jobs

It's called faking enthusiasm and got me every job I had. I hate my job and can't compete at all with the hotshot kiddos pouring all their lifeforce into it.

But I stay under the radar, rake in the same amount of cash they do, and stop work at 5pm while they are working till midnight and on weekends for some reason.

  • Did he just assume his friends' partner's gender?
