woah holy shit a bio?

  • No it's how we state this shit in Minnesota. He knows they're dumb and hateful. What he's saying is that he's going to get them to reject it too.

  • For those unfamiliar with Minnesotan language, that's what this vow is.

He will fight Project 2025 as state governor, which does give him powers the president can't just take. "While working to understand the appeal" means he acknowledges that Magats are idiots and will also work on a way to get through their thick skulls to also reject the Presidents agenda.

    Minnesota nice is fun :)

Edit: another interpretation would be he said to Trump supporters: "Y'all need Jesus."

  • That's the major saving grace of it.

Something like NOAA really requires a lot of experts to run, and get value from. If they replace it with loyalists, privatize it, or just stop funding it all together it's entire benefit will end.

I can list a ton of impacts to NOAA benefits ending: National Weather Service likely gets privatized

    1. only premium users get the 24/7 continuous weather updates from NWR broadcasts (radio weather updates).

3.NWWS (basically used for severe weather monitoring) now has fees or is gone.

    1. EWIN means no more emergency weather coordination.
    2. Weather.gov is shut down or prioritized.

That means immediately we have disasters in all farming communities from lower crop yields. The tornado belt will get deadlier. You can just forget about living in Florida. It will be very expensive to fly because airlines no longer receive that data. More destructive forest fires. Incoming and outgoing sea shipping will become much more expensive and dangerous (more expensive imports, exports, seafood, off shore oil).

Not to mention space weather is in the realm of NOAA. Satellite and radio comms will be difficult to account for. Geomagnetic storms will cause infrastructure damage when operators of pipelines and power grids can't prepare for the induced surges.

That's just a tiny list. I like sort collectively acknowledge - Maga is a cult of Death. It doesnt matter who or why, they just want to cull the human population.

What's sort of funny to me is the conspiracy about our leaders being lizard people makes more since if the Project 2025 people are actually aliens going about in a systemic way to remove us from the planet for themselves. A la "They Live" style.

  • Eventually I will be divorced but I can't exactly cash out my half of the equity in the home without making her homeless. If she's still my property anyone I'll take $80k, no warranty, sales final. Comes with free baggage and would make a great drill instructor. Low mileage, but unreliable and untrustworthy. Pretty to look at though.

    (/s)

  • One thing we know about Trump though, is that he's bad at math. The Magats want CW2 so bad, but they don't understand anything beyond 'guns and men'

  • Oh I haven't played that in a while. Looks like a bunch of updates

  • It's not a hard problem to solve. It's not hard to see the reasoning behind a desire for self driving cars. Anyone who lives outside of a big city in the US knows this.

Roads are already present. Traffic control is already present.

Tie the goddamn roads to the goddamn traffic control and have it coordinate the cars. The cars input their destination, and have radar to stop the car to prevent accidental collision.

The problem is people don't like that they can't get to their destination faster, they don't have the freedom of choosing their exact route, and they can't just rev their engine whenever they want.

It's not mass transit, but it solves the final distance problem.

  • No, that's silly. You'll both be campers at "Liberty Rehabilitation Camp!"

  • Dictators don't typically take too kindly to filibusters.

  • You know what just dawned on me?

He might have large numbers of voter support.

But he has almost no information on how much of that is useful. There are a few paramilitary organizations here and there. But for the size of the US and armed citizen to Magat ratio, he has no idea if his rhetoric will do anything after he starts crying.

Or... Like it was said on Weekend Update we're all gonna get audited anyway.

  • No, that is not how the ccTLD is enforced by IANA. It has sole authority, and it is not automatic is any way. There have been a total of two retired domains, one in like 95 and km 2000.

They will not retire a domain under heavy use such as .io.

  • That means the British Indian Ocean Territory will cease to exist, along with the .io domain and countless websites.

That is most definitely not how it works.

  • You know, if I had any influence over like law enforcement, I'd tell em something like "Yeah, we lost. But guys, this is a great opportunity to flex - on the people who screwed it up most for us. The damn ass hats that kept saying the quiet part out loud!" Or summer shit that like

  • Oh yeah. It's not that I have problems with people, or people have problems with me, it's just the whole "people" thing is a "problem" to me.

I get a long great with people so long as it's at most like 3 of us. any more and oof its a problem

  • I'm with y'all, I'm more disappointed that he's still stealing oxygen. At least Rush and Kissinger had the decency to finally kick it before fascism became so goddamn close to reality

  • It also kind of right up the dudes personality.

Hitler had the what you could call a 'close friend' (I don't think these monsters really have any friends) executed in the night of the long knives for simply being gay.

  • Wait, we know Epstein didn't kill himself.

    Trump had him killed.

  • Ok, fine, they didn't release them.

Who the fuck decided not to release them?!?!
