Rather recently in an interview Trump said he would love to tell us what the drones were and then said “but it’s not up… it’s not a big deal.” It really seemed like he almost said “it’s not up to me.” Trump says a lot of batshit stuff, but afaik he doesn't make this sort of slip often. He says other nonsense.
Yeah, there is a strong apocalyptic tint to everything that has been growing in the last few years in UFO discourse. And Thiel is interested in that discourse. And he has his own anti-Christ ideas.
Both Thiel and a woman who goes around talking about aliens/ufos in the context of religion have been on the same NYT podcast recently. The podcast is about the current right wing control of the country, and about documenting their views on things.
It’s all very weird. And it’s a whole lot of smoke. I’m not sure what the fire is yet, apart from it being the right wing pandering to people for their support. Maybe it’s more than that.
I guess they might also want to revert back to the glory days when the nation was so consistently and pervasively drunk off its ass that prohibition actually passed.
Social media is defined by users being the main source of content. Not by friendship or acquaintance. Fox News is not social media, because you can’t just upload content to Fox News.

The trolls should have stayed online. And y’all were so fucking stupid to continuously discount online discourse like it wasn’t happening in the real world. Is it clear now? The internet is just a communication medium for the real world. It wasn’t just an alternate reality you could dismiss.
