Wrong, it's still an alphabet that you can type and save in various formats, unicode being the most famous and which is recognized by all compilers and IDEs.

Wrong again for obvious reasons.

Either you need:

• a separate programing language, or
• a tool that can handle multiple languages, or
• a langage that can handle unicode variables (like Go) but it's only for variables

Some software can handle different languages like Microsoft Office where can use French keywords instead of English ones, or Windev (a shitty French IDE) where you can code in French.

Anyway it's a bad idea because everyone codes in English in most French companies, and I guess the rest of the world. The only places that used French functions and variables were very old code written in the 80s/90s when people didn't knew how to code, or cared about the future of that code.
