The biggest thing that freed me to journal better is to cut all the bs rules I forced on myself. My only standard is to include the date everyday I write and try to add highlights to reflect on the day. Everything else is just random stream of consciousness tasks, thoughts, whatever. I also have a ton of random thoughts and I think that helps.
I tried keeping separate journals like you said but that’s too much form for me. Just throwing everything at one is best for me or I just won’t do it.
The best tip I have for organizing life is to keep a stupid easy non streak based habit tracker and a tasks list.
I don’t think journaling has had any magic for me but I really enjoy it. I write my daily tasks, random thoughts, things I learned, and feelings. I really like the act of physically writing especially with fun pens. One thing I came across recently is to right your daily highlights at the end for record keeping.
One, what the heck! I really hope you can get an appointment earlier. You don’t deserve this. Can you branch out to look for more places?
Two, you know the answer but it’s still a real fear! Of course there is a person out there who can love you no matter what. A relationship doesn’t have to have sex and there are plenty of other ways to have sex without penetration.
Edit also random thought while you’re waiting you should try to find a Chinese traditional doctor. I feel like male blood flow is something they would be pros at!
Haven’t used Facebook since maybe 2016/7. Got off Instagram maybe around 2020ish. See zero purpose for either. I do miss having a way to easily contact those friends but I have most of their numbers. They just won’t randomly message unless I pop up on their feed
That’s a really cool thesis! That must have depressed the hell out of them. I hope they found a good job for them.
Sometimes this sort of occurrence makes me really question the assumed validity of research. People can get away with a lot just because of a credential. I say this as someone in academia not a nut job conspiracy theorist.
Thanks for getting me to look up who that is! I knew his work but not his name.
That’s very frustrating. I wonder if that’s better or worse than in academia? People get called out and theories challenged, maybe a new edition is printed, or books challenging it. In blogs will someone often edit old posts for accuracy like the news does recently?
How to read well and closely as well as how nonsense academia can be. A recent work I read had multiple minor claims that were not factual while maintaining their main point. It made me realize how it’s hard to have everything right in a work but also how academia and research in general is like a tower of dominos, unless one person questions it the field will continue to build on bs claims.
If this was all before him what is the problem. He asked you a bad question and you downplayed it and lied then told the truth and apologized(?). Is he a little Protestant boy?
What’s the question? You should edit it or your post will most likely get removed.
Skimming your post you seem to be 100% open with your bf except for lowering your body count. But honestly I don’t think that is bad of you because what sort of shrewd person asks this question? It seems he wants you to be something you are not and that’s not what you deserve honestly… I’m sorry that he hurt you.
I agree with other commenters that it depends on the crime against my own morals.
