  • I'm confused by the albedo argument. The reflected light would need to reach the solar panels, but the panels are facing up. So how could a surface of ice/snow be sufficiently facing the solar panels to reflect a significant amount of sun light towards the panels?

    Edit: nevermind, using my hands to draw imaginary angles, I've concluded it can work with a facing normal white slope for some sun position if the orientation is favorable.

  • I got a Nokia Lumia at the time and the OS quality was surprisingly good. It felt much more well thought end to end than my Android is currently. But it was a mistake to force a convergence with the desktop OS.

If it's not the case, the teachers are morons, dangerous and probably criminals, and you should obviously not leave your kids there.In fact, regarding full contact combat sports, even for adults training does not involve full contact to the head in most cases, only competitions and examinations may. There's a lot of choice of schools and rulesets, so adults can choose whatever level of contact they are comfortable with.

  • This should be a nice option, not a necessity. Sound mixing should be done correctly to adapt to the average stereo system with an average sound level by default. Then people who can afford a better setup and an individual house can opt for the mixing that fits their situation.

    Variations from other countries:

    • Japanese egg sandwich: boiled eggs (6-8 min if you want soft yellow or just right) crushed and mixed with mayonnaise spread on sliced bread. Bonus: add fresh herbs like cilantro, dill, or tarragon.
    • Spanish tortilla de patatas sandwich: sauteed onions, sauteed thinly slices potatoes, mixed with beaten eggs and fried to make a thick omelet. Put inside a sliced baguette style fresh crispy bread. Bonus: spread extra virgin fruity olive oil inside the bread before putting the omelet. Extra bonus: add a slice of Serrano ham.
