Just in case others run into the issue maybe someone has a solution, that last one opens a browser webpage for me in Boost, I can't figure out how to actually get it I to open in the application so I can join it haha.
Sadly that's just the Internet, you can't turn a corner anywhere in any community but for someone going on about some internal/niche thing happening in that country. They never specify where they are either, just assuming we're all exactly where they are, in the only country that exists.
I'm still annoyed by it don't get me wrong, but I don't expect it to change, sadly. There's just life, and life is pain and disappointment.
Enjoy your free speech while you still have it because this is a clear attempt to erase that right.

Please, in the West we've had huge societal crisis after crisis, crumbling rights, services, and stability, etc, and nothing has turned revolutionary.
You think people who are willing (if you look at supposedly developed, modern places like the USA for example) to put up with a clearly predatory evil healthcare & police system, fascist government, almost no basic workers rights, disappearing people from the streets into concentration camps, etc etc, are going to 'turn revolutionary' over ANYTHING?
We've had every opportunity, every chance to stand up and fight for what's right for us and others, and the best we can do are a few days of mild protests with some cardboard signs (which, given how far we've allowed our rights to be eroded are just as likely to land us in jail, or labeled as extremists).
Huh, I've probably seen it, but I can't remember ever seeing a bloke pushing a pram here in the UK.
I see loads of women doing so of course, and I must have seen a man doing so at some point, but not often enough to have any recollection of it ever happening. Strange!
I'm sure I'll take notice the next time I spot it though.

There's a separate conversation you might want to have with yourself on whether your can separate the author from the work while you're reading it, of course, and whether you're comfortable doing so or not is a personal decision you'll have to make for yourself.

The funny thing is, THIS seems to be the part the media is rolling with, but if you read the full details about what it can do and how poorly it's made, tracking your location is only one thing to worry about (though it's a big one to be fair).
E.g The potential for running arbitrary malicious code if one random dude on the internet (who is unrelated to the US government) has his GitHub account compromised? Daaaaaaawg
