I’m really close to being ready to do the test for my HAM license. It’s been enlightening to see all the applications and components tied to it. Swapped to the Affinity suite a few months ago and have been loving it. DaVinci Resolve replaced Premiere. Still having trouble finding a decent After Effects replacement though. I’ve been eyeing Natron but haven’t tried it yet.

Seconded. Been using it since early summer and it’s been great having instant access to bias and credibility data. Its also been nice to be able to easily read other perspectives on the same topic.
Lockpicking maybe? Just recently got into it as a bucket list hobbies but it’s actually really entertaining. They sell practice cutaway locks that fit easily in one hand as you fidget about with the lock picks.
No I feel the same way. I think it’s because it’s part of an ecosystem of concepts built with all its predecessors mistakes in mind. There’s still learning to do but the foundation is simple but is also modern.
