libera te tutemet ex machina, and shitpost~~

  • OnlyFans is suspicious af considering it’s not blocked in US states with porn bans. Some weird small group of people did a lot of hard work to effectively create a monopoly over porn in some U.S. states, users and creators should beware. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these onlyfans contents are marketing pieces.

  • I think the set and costumes are on point for a satirical punk comedy.

  • The 90s in general were pretty bad for portrayal of trans and lgb+ characters. Remember Ace Ventura, first one?

I agree, though, close minded people ruin everything.

  • Ghostbusters 2016 is under appreciated for what it accomplishes over the original, the recent one with the grandkids is so generic and bland.

  • Cowboy Bebop spoilers

  • Why? It’s their life, unless they’re asking you for money or favors, it shouldn’t even be a concern. Maybe they’re nihilist or suicidal, what does any of it matter?

  • To get more boxes?

  • Judging people for how those people spend their money.

Hear me out, poverty and wealth inequality is a systemic societal issue, and just like one person recycling plastic bottles isn’t going to solve pollution or global warming, just like that one person doing charity or whatever isn’t going to solve systemic wealth inequality.

Tax wealthier people at higher rates, but don’t judge someone for getting a gold toilet after they’ve paid their fair share to society.

Life is all bullshit and made up anyway, and if someone’s self actualization involves getting a gold toilet, then who am I to say no? Not everyone wants a gold toilet, and no one should try to get one by ruining someone else’s life. If your money is ethically sourced, and you’ve paid your taxes, get two gold toilets, who cares.

  • You are great!

  • Wow my eyesight is so bad I didn’t notice

  • Yeah social media is great at sneak advertising, that’s not an accomplishment for the Barbie movie though. If someone enjoyed it, that’s all that matters. Is it the best movie of its kind? Not by a long shot, but that’s neither here nor there.

  • The power of memes, haha

Memes deserve their own academic field, says an ardent nerd.

  • Nah, I think it’s impt to just know that we can all just live however we choose, no one should tell us anyone can just be one way

  • I mean, ideally you’re right. Loans are a risky investment in some way, the risk being that you’re assuming some future income which will make it advantageous to take out a loan. However, if wages become historically stagnant, and the housing and job markets are historically unstable, then the social contract of “go to college and get a degree to be a productive member of society” is broken.

Not one single guidance counselor in the 80s or 90s was telling students to not go to college. The fact is that college education become exorbitantly expensive because of the way govt. loans were structured. These are all systemic and economic issues, there’s not just individual responsibility at stake here.

  • I guess that’s fair

  • Better to realize the value of drm free and sellers like GOG before that time then

  • Depression and social media use is also a fatal combination, a lot of people online really shouldn’t be for their own sake.

  • But they’ll elect MAGA again because if there’s anything this election has taught me is that Republican voters have really strong group loyalty, and most undecided voters are low information voters and cannot be trusted to vote in any informed manner.
