  • Dismissive and unfair view, there are a lot of uses for such ball bearings. You can use it in a small turn table, for example, that doesn't turn a whole lot, essentially it all depends on your requirements.

  • I print a lot and on different printers, mostly petg, some abs and tpu. All of them require some configuration unless you are extremely lucky or print with filament from the same brand as a printer. Bbl (including x1) isn't better or worse in this regard in my experience.

  • No such printer exists. Unless everything you are talking about is plain PLA with limited number of colours from the same company, everything else will require you at least some experimenting and fiddling.

  • It is, but nfsv3 is extremely easy to configure. You need to edit 1 line in 1 file and it's ready to go.

  • I have a dedicated box with a heated carpet for reptiles that can regulate temp between 25-60 C, two 12v coolers and two boxes with silicagel, this one runs constantly. If there is a need to dry multiple spools - oven at 50 C for 4-5 hours. That's my setup for petg.
