I had pretty intelligent cats all my life and the last one exceeded everyone - an orange one by the way.
Obviously there are dumb and more intelligent cats, but I think, it's mostly the owners, that are too dumb to understand their cat.Communication isn't a one way street

Fenri(r) because he was very attached to us from the start and we lost our loved cat Loki a bit more than a year ago - also orangeSo, in his honour, Fenri(r) is named as his mythological son :-)
So, you wait until the food dispenser opens and then you directly feed him by hand from the can - into the dispenser or some pot I guess, and not directly into his mouth ;-)
But ok, having something to dictate schedule sounds interesting
My last cat was absolutely not food orientated and got usually fed in the afternoon and evening. So we never had the problem in the morning
But now caring for a stray mother of 2, she is obviously always hungry.She still waits politely until we're awake, but going for a piss at 4 is currently the start for a cat partyMother wants food, little ones want to play/have action
At the moment it still works ok, because I tell her, I'm just to the toilet and it's too early for food - and I tell her to go eat some dry food until then
But it's really hard with getting older and needing to go to the toilet in the middle of the night ;-)
Edit: I never had such a dispenser, so I have no clue how they work...sorry, if my questions sound stupid
I'm completely with you regarding ssh/scpBut I don't know what you mean with mbuff (guess, memory buffer?)Haven't found anything with a quick search, but as I often need ssh/scp to work through customer VPNs, everything that makes that faster or more stable is a very welcomed thing :-)
Yesterday he was breathing hard after a bit of exploration
Today he seems to be better, but his eyes were full of slime and I needed to clean them multiple times - but not just under his eyes, also a film in his eyes
I'm really getting worried...
But can't do much more at the moment until they are old enough for most medications
I'm too stupid to understand how I should do that o:-)
She loves water and always comes watching me, when I open the tap
