No, I'm sorry - there may be some things that would make Linux more palatable to non-techies, but this just recreates the Windows problem again. The same dichotomy that's been at play for the past 30 years is still at play - you can have it easy or you can have freedom and control, but you can't have both.
Not only that, this whole thing is a backhanded self-aggrandizing pat on the back about how she's still better and smarter even if she was wrong about this one thing, as if it were the equivalent of having made a wrong turn on driving directions. And in the future, she'll, of course, still make ALL the same mistakes because NOTHING fundamental has changed in her worldview or herself.
She can shove her "epiphany" and her qualifications to it.

Reality: Everything is so blatantly incompetently being doctored in broad daylight - like a child claiming he didn't eat the cookies while in the process of eating the cookies, that everyone is actually too stunned by the absurdity to do anything.
This comes up a lot, and I don't necessarily get it. I have all smart TVs, and I just never, ever, EVER let them connect to wifi even ONCE for any reason. It's not like it NEEDS it for anything.
