  • I love the idea of federate Amazon. The obvious choice would be to implement Monero as the "reserve currency" integrate with decentralise xmr exchanges and escrow services. U would do some sort of seller raring from consumers giving reviews tied to a purchase transaction on the blockchain.

Also imagine the possibilities if for services could federate (most likely only with eachother). If this gets built it will be the final form of the free market. No borders no laws no restrictions no censorship no taxes. It would be chaos. The end of wall street as we know it, and from its ashes shall rise a libertarian phoenix.

  • How long since getting an oracle CEO did this take?

  • Theprimeigen covers the drama very effectively and their are some good technical arguments on both sides.

  • Is that like PipePipe for idiots?

  • Bit sus.

Imagine if someone started selling cancer free tomato's

  • I mean it will say ”join [randomly selected preapproved instance here]” its no harder but it helps keep the fediverse decentralised.

  • I think their should be a list of prechecked instances that are randomly selected

  • I been running arch in some of my qubes and yeah its cool to have a really light weight image and its cool to play wirh new features as soin as they are available but I don't have the bandwidth to constantly fix shit every 2weeks cos some obscure package now has issues with some new version of reverse flumberboozle 69.

  • That information is in the database it isn't exposed via the api but if u run an instance u can query the database urself.

  • U bastard. I though us eternity users where better than that.

  • The more I code the more i realise I can't code for shit.

Not sure how this relates but similar vibe.

  • Yeah I've seen people complaining about that. Can't u just use peertube?

  • This should have been your original post. I see where ur coming from now that we have more context.

  • I've heard that using ddns for mail gets u into all sorts of IP blacklisting issues. I don't even have a non cgnat iv4 and I'm not sure if email can work with an ipv6 only

  • Trees aren't actually that great. Algee is what is really effective. Codyslab has some great videos and some wild ideas on application for it.

  • As I said the rich and the stupid. If ur rich and u pay then it doesn't effect u so why wouldn't you.

I send $1 a year to independent journalist that i support (most of em are on yt so that's more than they would ever get from me as ad revenue). The rest of the news comes from large news orgs owned by a few rich and powerful assholes who use it as a personal mouthpiece.

I will read their propaganda but I refuse to pay for that privilege. I also believe that gate keeping knowledge in a way that will disproportionately effects the poor is a recipe to ensure the poor stay stupid and thus stay poor.

I would argue the maga supporters with IQs of house bricks still seek knowledge just that they have never been exposed to enough of it to realise they are not been fed knowledge but propaganda. By making real news have a pay wall it makes the fake news easyer to find and consume. I fundamentally believe all people are equal just that some have more opportunity than others. A pay wall simply puts a roadblock in the path of opportunity for the poor and stupid.

  • U guys have CSS?

  • We are the reddit clone why aren't we the front page of the fediverse?

  • Foss developers are donating their time and expertise to develop something for free for everyone. You have no right to demand they do this. If u have an issue go write the fucking code urself and make a pull request.

If u donated a large sum of money then u might have the right to ask what's happening. Pay the developer for their time or shut the fuck up and be gratefull.

  • Sounds like a federated eBay/amazon but where the "price" can be specified as non financial would do the trick.
