  • Did you even watch the movie? They explain it right away!

Someone "blew it up" and the resulting explosion launched it into space.

  • She is definitely not.

Artemis can be a boy's name. Historically there have been masculine versions of the name with different spellings, but in modern times the feminine spelling can be used.

  • This was one of my first comics, which is why it looks a little rough. Based on a conversation I had with my mythology-obsessed daughter.

  • Oh shit. Drawing a line is a really good idea.

  • So can someone explain this to me? Because I understand the explanation that the experiments were with transgenic mice, and obviously Trump is dumb enough to not know the difference, but then they've got this explanation on whitehousegov:

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/03/yes-biden-spent-millions-on-transgender-animal-experiments/

I have to swallow down my vomit after reading an official government website use the phrase "fake news losers", but then it seems to be quoting actual studies and includes things like:

“A Mouse Model to Test the Effects of Gender-affirming Hormone Therapy on HIV Vaccine-induced Immune Responses”

    and

Gender-Affirming Testosterone Therapy on Breast Cancer Risk and Treatment Outcomes

Those sound like perfectly valid and worthwhile experiments to me, but they do technically involve mice being given gender-affirming hormones, or as an idiot would say, "transgender mice".

I just want to be accurate with my criticisms, and I'm not sure the transgenic = transgender explanation is enough.

  • lamenting

    I believe you mean "lambasting".

  • I'm old with you. I almost didn't even post the comic because my sister said she didn't get it. She's like 33... which I guess means she was 1 when Jurassic Park came out.

  • So what's the damage here? I can't find anything about the targets. Is this why my Xbox is having server issues?

  • I rewatched it recently and it totally holds up.

  • A fake Christmas tree would be pretty confusing. Or even tree stands for a real tree. Even if you figure out it's for a tree, what purpose could that tree serve?

  • No, for three reasons.

There ain't no Slaying, there ain't no Spires, and there ain't no Slaying of no Spires.

  • Was it live streaming or pre-recorded? I'm coming to realize that most pre-recorded roguelike videos are cherry-picked and don't teach you much.

  • I bought it on my phone over the summer when we lost power for a week (I live in Texas). I couldn't consistently charge my phone, but Slay the Spire offered a much needed distraction for hours.

  • I haven't heard of Fights in Tight Spaces, but I'll check it out.

I slept on Slay the Spire for years because the description of it sounded so good it was like the developers were reading my diary, and I wasn't ready for that.

  • Surprising New Primary Challenger

That's not that surprising. I was hoping it was like a golden retriever or something.

  • What do you mean "spit out"? Is it being put into a new open workbook, an existing open workbook, or is it being saved as a file?

And I don't mean to suggest I know better than the person actually dealing with the situation (I hate when people do that), but if you can do it manually, it can be automated.

  • There is definitely a way to automate that process. Even if you can't somehow sanitize the input before Excel reads it as dates, unfucking the data can definitely be reduced to a single button-push. I've based my entire career on my ability to do that.

  • Reminds me of an adult video I saw a while ago that completely changed how I view pornography.

It was a perfectly normal video of a perfectly normal woman doing a perfectly normal thing. The title of the video was descriptive of the action, and then in parentheses it said, "(NO FARTS)".

And I'm like... I wasn't even aware I had a preference either way, but now I definitely do.
