  • "It says his left shoe is supposed to be here, but all I see is his right shoe! How is this possible!?"

  • ... There's still a "he". That's what I was trying to point out.

  • It’s obvious she was fired because he’s not falsifying economic data well enough.

    I'm just being pedantic.

  • Take another pass at it?

  • Yeah, it just doesn't mean anything coming from the mouth of a Russian asset like Rand Paul.

  • It's funny because peanut butter, jelly, and bacon go so well together. Throw a little banana in there and fry it up, and you've got a Fat Elvis.

I think PB&J is just in a different category. I could eat them literally every day and never get tired of them, and I've heard the same from most other adults and children I've talked to about it.

My brother never liked peanut butter growing up, so he'd eat cream cheese and jelly sandwiches. I don't feel the need to say that in a way that expresses disdain, because I imagine it's impossible to read that sentence without the disdain being implied.

Anyway, doesn't really matter. You do you.

  • I know objectively that it doesn't matter, but I'm finding it really hard not to judge you as a person.

  • Average user here. I don't have time to take up PCs as a hobby. When I need a computer, I need it to just do what I want so I can be done with it.

PC hobbyists always discount the amount of time and effort it takes to be a PC hobbyist. Like a recipe writer who completely ignores prep time and says a complicated recipe will only take 45 minutes.

  • Obviously! This is a serious project.

(I looked up a Star Trek font and didn't realize until just now that the whole thing was Star Trek font.)

  • I double checked the rules. Profanity is allowed, so I'm continuing my new hobby of emphatically uncensoring needlessly censored memes.

  • I also don't know what I'd ask. It just seems so personal.

  • Then the question is: whom does that favor more: people with good ideas or people with bad ideas? Of those two groups, which one was more likely to work hard and develop a talent?

  • Same reason Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby works. Charm.

  • I should probably ask my dad more about 9/11 while he's still alive. He was there and escaped.

But he never seemed like he wanted to talk about it, and I never asked.

  • I've never seen SNW, but I'm just going to assume their ship is a sideways tugboat.

  • Thanks! That's the one.

  • Reminds me of that picture I saw going around of two snakes and some wires.

The first snake bit a wire and electrocuted itself, and the second snake bit the first snake and electrocuted itself.

And I always thought, that first snake was an idiot and probably thought he was biting another snake, and he paid the price for it. But the second snake had the exact same thought, only he was right. He really was biting another snake, but he still suffered the same fate.

  • I used to work at a DVD store, and sometimes we'd get a huge box with a single DVD at the bottom, and a ton of those plastic bags full of air to cushion it. When one of those packages arrived, I'd loudly announce, "Thank god! Our air arrived!" Then I'd tear it open and we'd all gasp like we'd been holding our breaths waiting for it.

  • I disagree about the saccharine-ness of the flavor. I think it's the opposite. To me the corn syrup is more acidic and on the front of the tongue. The cane sugar is lighter, more on the back of the tongue, not nearly as far back as fake sugar, but heading in that direction. To me it's like someone added a sprinkle of stevia. Not enough for me to hate it, but enough that I can tell.

I'd put it a step closer to Pepsi. It's the kind of sweetness that wins all the "blind taste tests", but I still don't prefer it.

I grew up drinking way too much Coca-Cola, but nowadays I restrict myself and only have one with dinner sometimes. If they switch out the HFCS for cane sugar, I'll switch to Dr. Pepper & Cream Soda exclusively, which is the only other soda I like.
