  • *mutilating, fyi

  • Aren't there literally people who were biologically male but raised as a girl due to botched circumcisions?

  • Careful, you'll cut yourself on that edge

  • I've heard nothing but good things about them

Here's a negative then: AI summaries are on all tiers. That means you're paying/subsidizing them, even if you don't use them.

If they offered tiers without AI summaries (with a lower price due to the loss of a so-called "feature") then we can talk

  • Can't that be reported to whatever government agency that made the requirement?

  • Because it glows in the dark... and also shoots gel beads that glow in the dark.

    Uh... Isn't that carcinogenic?

  • No idea. Also, my comment is mostly a joke

So you admit he's an asshole. Why should anyone waste their time on his videos then?

  • From the videos I've seen, he just does trial and error - no math or understanding involved. That's not engineering - that's called design. Didn't stop him from bashing engineers in one of his videos saying that school was pointless. After that, I stopped watching his videos. Thankfully I only wasted time on 2-3 of them, including the swearing roomba.

Meanwhile I highly doubt he knows (or knew) anything about fatigue, trusses, or kinematics, things you have to have an understanding of in mechanical engineering. Maybe he learned after the fact, but I don't really care.

  • As a mechanical engineer: if a software engineer completed school, they're an engineer, deal with it. We're not talking about someone that doesn't know what they're doing cobbing things together for 1-off demos like Michael Reeves

  • 1: Believe it or not, face moisturizer really helps. You don't need anything particularly fancy, I just use the Gold Bond brand stuff from the grocery store.

When your skin gets dried out it starts to overproduce oil to stop the dryness. But this overproduction of oil contributes to acne. Moisturizer prevents it from the start.

2: As others have said, regularly washing your pillowcase helps as well, as it prevents oils and bacteria from building up. Wash it weekly at minimum. Having multiple pillowcases to swap in and out will help as well. And if you shower in the mornings, washing your face before bed every night will also cut down on oil accumulation throughout the week.

3: When you get out of the shower, use a separate towel for your head. Some acne is caused by microbes being transferred from different parts of your body. A bacteria that's benign in your armpit might cause issues if it gets moved to your face.

4: As others have mentioned, an exfoliating facewash during showers also helps.

5: I don't buy acne wipes anymore because they're overpriced. When I can tell some form of blemish is forming, I put some isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol on a q-tip and rub it on the spot for 30s. And yes, I count the full 30s. This part's probably easier for me since I was finished with puberty almost 15 years ago, so it's easier to treat the occasional zit.

  • What an ironically bitter comment

  • And if you hold the election and Mitch appears alive and well later, then Mitch takes his seat back. Not hard to figure out

  • Don't need more chuds finding the real internet again.

Ironically, Truth Social is just a custom instance of Mastodon, and by definition everyone on there are chuds

  • The mission of Codeberg is to kill GitHub

Is it? Or are you deciding that for them?

  • Eh... It depends. People can enjoy a thing while also recognizing that they wouldn't want to emulate it. Not always, but it should be handled on a case-by-case basis
