  • I see the Live Action Shrek remake is coming along well...

  • I won't buy this until Mot does a Let's Play video on it.

  • Wouldn't a double promotion be to Lieutenant? Kim is an Ensign, next is Lieutenant Junior Grade, and then full Lieutenant.

But then again, when has voyager ever made sense? Jk.

  • That's not as bad as the guy who gave his cat co-author ship on a paper

  • It's all good! We should set up a chapter discussion thread on c/cosmere.

  • Have you read Knights of Wind yet? I'm about a fifth of the way in it yet.

  • Probably not considering we see Laas shift around in space like a gormagander

  • (at least in my time zone) it's Thursday, the Void of the workweek

  • Bones

    Jump
  • Has there been a Bones/Bones crossover day yet?

  • I often find going to the tropics solves most of my problems!

In all seriousness, I totally agree that topical is the way to go.

  • This makes sense. Another theory is O'Brien's character had a speech impediment related injury gained during whatever action won him his award.

  • It's a cat.

  • To be fair, that man is 100 years old. His medicine cabinet must be briming with pills.

  • When I was a kid, I came up with a theory that the jemhadar had no individual names, like the Borg. Everyone in a jem hadar unit was whatever prefix Remata or Omata etc refered to the name of the unit. Clan was added because they were all a cohort of a dozen or so people. And that the only way to distinguish amongst themselves was their rank, solidifying the whole "order brings victory, victory is life" mantra.

I know now that doesn't really work but hey, I had fun thinking it up.

  • Space Esperanto

That could be the case here. Vic may be singing in Federation Standard (aka English) and Kira /Odo have learned it after hanging out with the Federation for the last six to seven years. Considering their backgrounds as people who lived in multi-lingual societies (from the Occupation), it wouldn't be the strangest thing for them to pick up a new language with some off screen effort over the years.

  • To be fair, in the book the three musketeers were always Porthos, Athos, and Aramis. D'Artagnan joins the group and becomes their companion later on.

Should the book have been named the Four Musketeers? Probably. But hey, it's French.
