  • People of any race can be Muslim. When someone says "Christians are all crazy" do we say that they're racist towards white people just because the majority of Christians are white?

So then why is it that when someone implies that Muslims are all crazy we assume that that is racism at work?

And it's not exactly a random thing to bring up. Rapture is supposedly going to apply to Christians so even if it did happen, theoretically the Muslims would be left behind, and so in the context of the comic posted that says all the religious wackos are gone, he's pointing out that they wouldn't all be gone.

I'm lost on what is racist about this. Could you please explain?

  • A deep insight indeed. I often think that paradoxically, people's feelings would be better off without others trying to preemptively take care of those feelings. Of course, there is a balance.

  • I'm not sure the racists and sexists and incels are gonna vote for the Democrat candidate even if it was a literal clone of Donald Trump, solely because it's the Democratic candidate

  • AOC concocts DEVIOUS scheme to repossess burger from McDonalds using PRIVATE bank account funding

  • But people are talking about it on Twitter, and what happens on Twitter is more real than reality itself!

  • "Carr appeared yesterday on the radio show hosted by Scott Jennings, who describes himself as "the last man standing athwart the liberal mob.""

One of the biggest things that pisses me off about the current, and really long-standing conservative narrative, is how they try to market themselves as the underdogs. Oh poor me, I'm the one strong soldier against the evil hordes of liberals!! Like, bro. You're the chair of the FCC. You're shutting down shows with no resistance. You're all getting everything you want, You've been getting everything you want all year long. That's not an underdog type situation. It's so deranged to be the literal people in power and yet still talk endlessly like this. Last man standing?! What about the literal majority of the country that voted for Trump?

  • Sun bears are definitely justifiably cursed.

So when she first said this. It was long ago, a time when red pandas were much less popular. So many in the group did not know what they looked like, I among them. From her fear, I inferred it must be something like, well, a panda, but red, and maybe skinnier and freakier. Then she pulled up a picture, and everybody lost it

  • This was asked of her. The answer was no, and the reasoning was that they won't walk like that. She knew it was irrational lol

  • I once knew a lady who was terrified of red pandas for exactly this reason, the fact they would stand on two legs "like a human" despite not being human just freaked her out. So maybe there's something to it.

  • I suppose. But if hundreds of people started accusing you of being a secret space alien, you might one day feel the urge to say "listen everyone, I am not an alien, I am a human". It's pretty messed up if people hear you say that and go "hmmm exactly what an alien would say tbh"

  • I hope that people aren't really taking this too seriously as a reason to suspect Israel. There was a LOT of chatter saying that they killed him, by the Nazis of course. A dominant narrative on /pol/ is basically that Kirk got in bed with the Jews and now he's paid the price for trusting them.

From the standpoint of your average left-leaning person, Israel making a statement like this seems completely out of the blue and makes them look really guilty. But there's a whole demographic of people who really think that they did it. I don't think it's too unreasonable that they would make a statement about it. And let me be clear. I absolutely hate Israel with all my heart. But there are plenty of events in this world that they are not responsible for.

More importantly, this seems dangerously close to reasoning like: "You wouldn't defend yourself against these accusations unless they were actually true!" Which is definitely not a good bar to set.

  • Yeah, thank you. The problem with Hillary and Kamala is nobody liked them. Now sure you can argue " maybe people didn't like them because they're women and they have a bias against women". I never heard anybody online saying " wow! I would sure love to have Kamala as president but I just don't think other people will vote for her". I see lots of people saying that about AOC. At some point you have to look around and be like oh wait...lots of people are saying they'd vote for her.

  • I'll believe it when I see it. The left is constantly huffing copium about how actually secretly everyone in the country is a good friendly person and there's really only like fourteen racists left now that everyone has seen the error of their ways. Never seems to be true

  • If we're lucky they'll do something that speaks to the youth, like doing Tiktok dances in protest

  • Praying that the unfalsifiable paranoias of these morons will soon cause them to completely distrust all their own propaganda outlets and thus collapse their own social control structures

  • Senators: You are doing something very bad

    Bezos: No

    Senators: Yes

Bezos: What are you gonna do about it?

    Senators: ...

    This concludes today's session

  • The left has been trying to unite since 1950. Arguably since the Civil War lol. Look how well that works.

  • But but but I was told that if we keep compromising and being friendly and moderate just like Daddy Hakeem and Daddy Schumer told me, that Trump will finally forgive me for not being exactly like him 🥺
