We know as well as Trump knows that they'll fall in line. As long as he has broad support from the base the rest of the party can't do shit - even if they wanted to.
I've always noted with a certain cynicism that the old nomenclature for the workday '9-5' adds up to eight hours. Surely these people weren't missing lunch...
There were really loud persuasive voices calling for the Dems to try to siphon off dissatisfied GOP voters. Apparently they convinced their overpaid advisors because sure as shit Kamala was campaigning with a fucking Cheney (who at least has a soul but still a piece of crap politically).
Year after year they watch the success of Bernie and other leftist candidates and decide they're going to tack right JUST ONE MORE TIME. Definitely goes to show how well the right has demonized the left.
Entshitification is impossible to completely avoid, even here, when so much of the internet's content is recycled or reposted from the most influential sites
You're right about the majority of his base who are all in on the cult and will never change their minds. But he had a lot of help from other demographics who aren't in the cult like those who are Q first or independents who thought he'd improve the economy 'like he did in his last term' LOfuckingL.
We gotta watch the polls, he's trending down over the last months and this surely isn't helping. He'll probably never drop below 35% ish but the closer he gets to that the less power he has because a great majority of his power is derived from the bully pulpet.
The thing is that you really have to screw over powerful people in order to face consequences as a powerful person. Turnip is definitely stepping on some feet these days though so maybe?
Probably only hardcore MAGA. Actually probably not them because they wouldn't believe an MSM article that claimed Trump was hurting the image of the USA, even if they could read
This culture war nonsense has ruined us. In a humane world a person should be embarrassed and shamed for saying something like 'what if I don't feel comfortable with their lifestyle' - in ANY situation, not to mention a medical one. How about just some basic human decency? What about live and let live? Ideas that we'd all want for ourselves but somehow some of us find it so difficult to afford to others.
And before anyone comes at me with some 'paradox of tolerance' nonsense - no, in the tolerant world I dream of, there is no room for the intolerant. We cannot tolerate the intolerant if we want to live in a tolerant world.
"Republicans are angry," right.
