  • Username, password is all they need for that. Idiots.

  • I would say that's true, except for the idiots with no self awareness or conception of consequences. Those guys will always be a problem

  • Why does it need any personal details at all??

  • Surely we should have a hardware solution soon, that's just a bunch of vram? I saw an article recently where a dude got a server GPU or something and jimmied it up to run in his PC. Worked great apparently

  • This is why I'm never going to the US until all this shit is fixed. Which will probably be never

  • It doesn't matter if you try or not, you will anyway. It's unavoidable. The canvas has a colour, no matter what paint you put on top

  • A tragic fate. Couldn't happen to a more deserving person

  • Russia is not a typical country..

  • Absurdism. Life, the universe, existence, is absurd and irrational.

It's comforting and liberating to accept.

  • Knowledge is power, but France is bacon.

  • How to drain your flagon?

  • The US is insane!

  • Everyone knows you can't microwave a lettuce and expect a salad, but Gordon Ramsey does use a microwave. So do I, and I never claim I'm a chef. But my food is better than the food produced in a million restaurants world wide. Still can't exactly mimic the Mac sauce yet, but I bet an LLM could help with that

  • I feel like it could have been handled better if they dug a big pit and put spikes at the bottom and covered the opening with leaves

  • I'm racist against centipedes. There's not many insects I hate, centipedes are right at the top.

  • If you want to invest, index funds the best way. Long term they consistently return 10% pa.

If you want to earn a lot of money, you could be a stripper.

If that doesn't appeal to you, do cheap / free online courses and use that on your CV to get a better job.

  • I despise being wrong, so I will readily admit it and change my position as soon as it's clear.

One hack I use sometimes is suffixing 'i could be wrong' to the end of sentences when I'm not sure so that I'm already halfway there and can easily switch my opinion.

This comes with the side effect of being very hard to convince otherwise when I'm quite sure I'm right.

In real life, I often can't be bothered debating people especially when it's something trivial or when I don't care about them enough to help them see the error of their ways, so I'll concede with a 'maybe' just to move on from it.

  • I just use jerboa..

  • I was going to say everyone on Faux News, but tbh it takes some kind of talent to do what they do with a straight face
