hyprland is okayish. it has no window titles you can use to control it one handed with a pointing device, which is very backwards. a top feature is a layer that goes in front of everything. the customization options aren't that many. it tries to be minimalistic but with effects.
Gnome themes and extensions have more customization options, but it's a huge mess. it offers tiling with an extension called Forge. This would also be an alternative.
Wayfire is also cool, but hard to set up. For some users, after installing, it's just an empty desktop without even a pointer. It needs utility apps and proper config.
