if this is for the US (where they don't have coalitions), you first gotta get in a situation where dems will likely win by a large margin. otherwise left votes will just be devided again, so the republicans win again. then, when you're in that situation, you can switch to different kinds of left parties running against each other.
Slightly similar in Germany, where there is a 5% margin. If too many left voters vote for the parties that get less than 5%, they can't form a coalition and right wingers win. You first gotta unite with the established parties, then, when it's just a race about which left party will win the election, you can introduce more specific left parties.
Because ppl start to ask questions when the ambulance or firetruck gets to the wrong house, but there will be no backlash when the ICBM hits the wrong house on another continent.
In Germany jail is not to lock people away for public security, we have Sicherungsverwahrung and special psychiatric hospitals for that. Jail is for rehabilitation; to change their mind and make them functioning members of society again and it works most of the time. There's a really good chance they come out fine in the end.
Ironic, I use a smart TV that's not connected to a network as a monitor. It can view some DVBT too, but only a handful channels. I basically never watch actual TV, just sometimes a video. TV feels like a gigantic waste of time.
I'm from Europe btw.. However, I'm worried about my US friends and about nuclear material falling into the wrong hands and other nuclear dangers. I'm not sure there will be elections either, but I'm sure the next 4 years will feel long either way.
Well, idk, all the watches I have (but never wear any more) are like that. Even one of my old phones was kinda like that (Wiko Highway Pure), just well, phone width and height.
Can confirm. You get plastic grass between takeout sushi in all big German cities.
