  • That's not how evolution works. Why would they be surprised if that's always been their destiny? Were you surprised when humans gained human level intelligence?

  • Really makes you think what a prince is. A prince is socially constructed. Someone is a prince because people think of that person as a prince, most often thru heritage, maybe thru marriage to a high born, certainly not thru a kiss with a random person

  • I think they used whole sentences back in the days and it was in the printing press era that they started abbreviating things to letters and symbols

  • That's one theory why x is used in math so much: in times of the printing press, the letter x was barely used so always free
