  • No, bangs is a hairstyle. Also "bangs maid" sounds like the third person singular. If you have multiple bangmaids, that would be the correct plural. For the most part the plural form is found by sticking an s on the end.

  • It was definitely an awesome show but I hated the interlaced format. Every time they skipped from one section to the next they had to reintroduce it and give a "we got this far" segment; it always felt like the show was at least twice as long as it needed to be.

    It'd have been so much better (for me at least) if they just focussed on one thing at a time from start to end, especially when one of the experiments was fairly gruesome exploding bits of dead pig or whatever, you could skip over that in its entirety.

    But maybe the show was aimed at people with the attention span of a ferret.

  • No, that would only "protect" your strumming hand and would do nothing for the other one. Besides finger/fingernail strumming/plucking/slapping/etc are useful techniques in addition to picking.

  • Absolutely not. Your fingers will develop the hard skin necessary to play for extended periods. Just trust your body's ability to adapt and stop when it starts hurting. Using superglue or any other kind of protection only puts off the inevitable, and opens you up to other risks like accidentally supergluing your fingers together.

    If you really can't cope then guitar is not for you.

  • Music. Way too many albums are that one decent song you hear on the radio and 38 minutes of filler shite, and you could never take it back to the shop to get a refund for being full of shite. So all my music is pirated first, purchased second, and anyone that objects to this is basically admitting that their industry is based on selling shite that can't be refunded.
